Unfortunately, due to their stinky nature, skunks get a poor reputation however our Oscar has had his scent glands removed so you are safe!

The chances are that you have never seen a living wild skunk. The reason for this is because these mammals are native to North, South and Central America and are nocturnal so they rarely make an appearance during the daytime.

OSCAR
Handsome Oscar came to live at HQ in 2019 after he could no longer stay with his owner who he shown a lot of aggressive behaviour towards. Thankfully this side of us disappeared once he settled into life here and he has never shown any forms of aggression to anyone since. These days he is probably one of the softest and friendliest animals that lives here. We find many show disinterest towards meeting a skunk however this soon turns to adoration and love once they meet him.
