CRESTED GECKO
These beautiful lizards can climb glass!
These Crested Geckos are native to New Caledonia where they were thought to be extinct until they were discoverd again in 1994.
Resembling a gargoyle these geckos are very popular in the pet trade due to their relaxed personalities and gentle physique. They are solitary animals but can form bonds with their owners and Myrtle will always climb back on to us for familiarity.

Myrtle
Myrtle came to Our Amazing Animal World in 2018 when her previous owner no longer had the time for her. She is a very gentle lizard with a very soft body and no claws so the perfect introduction to those who are usually nervous around reptiles.
Amazingly she can walk up glass which is always a showstopper at events.
