The Leopard gecko, also known as the Panther gecko or the Common Leopard gecko, is a medium-sized lizard found in the southern part of Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, northwest India, and parts of Iran; living mostly in dry rocky regions, dry grasslands and deserts.
These are very popular pets due to their calm personalities however due to them being naturally more nocturnal owners can become bored of them meaning they are often in rescue centres and sanctuaries.

Gizmo
Gizmo the Gecko has enigma syndrome which can be quite common in geckos due to bad breeders. This horrible disorder means he can’t catch his own food, has seizures, balance issues and needs a lot of help removing his shed.
He’s done so well since living here at the sanctuary - he’s gained a lot of weird and the symptoms are much less now he has a steady routine.
