for ages

  Not a small docile lizard!

Native to Africa, Bosc monitors (also known as Savannah monitors in America) are adapted to dry and hot environments. They are so adapted that even their feeding habits change depending on the season. During the wet season, the savannah monitor can consume almost one tenth of its body weight.  When the weather becomes dry, they will began to fast. They live off of the fat reserves from the wet season

Vinnie arrived in 2020 when his previous owner was moving back to Spain and unfortunately was unable to take him too.

Vinne is very cute but is growing and so is currently around 2 feet and should reach around 4 feet eventually.
