Rehoming
Animals looking for a forever home
We obviously cannot keep every animal we rescue and some would really benefit from having a new loving forever home. Each animal we help here at the sanctuary is loved and cared for so we will need to be assured that any proposed home has the same level of commitment to the animals future.

We will insist on seeing a suitable set up for the animal and an understanding of the animals/species needs.
We don't set a rehoming fee but do ask for a donation to help cover costs and help us continue the work of the rescue.

If you are interested in offering any of the animals on this page a forever home please do get in touch.
Bertie & Joe the chinchillas
These 2 lovely chinchillas have had a tough time of it with multiple owners and bullying but are now fully bonded. Bertie especially can be quite fussy with interaction and has often removed parts of his fur when stressed.

They need a very loving, patient forever home that will help them with their ongoing lives.

They are both roughly 11-13 years old (chinchillas live up to 20)

We are reserved
Stanley the crested gecko
Stanley recently arrived here at the sanctuary (Aug 2025) and is a lovely character. He hasn't been handled much but isn't overly nervous and hasn't shown any aggression.

Estimated to be around 6 years old.

He has a small set up but will need a larger one. You can read about crested geckos using the link below.

Found my
forever home
Wilbur the bosc monitor
Wilbur arrived with a torn lip from being kept in the wrong type of environment. His mouth recovered leaving a tiny lump on the side of his mouth which doesn't bother him but would open again if introduced to an inappropriate enclosure.

He isn'y aggressive however can be viv defensive and is only used to minimal handling however we feel in the right home he could be very affectionate.

Sam the corn snake
This gorgeous corn snake is around 4-5 years old. The previous owner was unsure of the sex. Sam is viv defensive but much calmer once being held outside his viv.

He/she has had multiple homes so would benefit from a forever home so ideally not someone who may tire of them. Corn snakes live up to around 20 years.

I found
my home
Pegasus Java Dove
Pegasus is a handsome Java Dove and one of the warmest souls we have met. He was part of a magic act for 6 years but when the act was retired he was no longer needed.

He couldn't fly and was an anxious boy but these days is very calm and cuddle. We would happily keep him here forever but he would love a home where he can receive loads of love and cuddles all the time.
