Chinchillas
Chinchillas are fascinating rodents native to the Andes of northern Chile. Unfortunately, their incredibly soft fur has made them hunted for the fur, leading to a significant decline in their population. These crepuscular and nocturnal creatures are most active at dawn and dusk, spending their days in burrows or rocky crevices. Social by nature, chinchillas thrive in colonies that can number in the hundreds, showcasing their playful and interactive behaviors.
Interaction
Our chinchillas are happy to be stroked, or fed food which we supply.

They are suitable for indoor events all year round and outdoors in the warmer months.
