Birthday celebrations

Here at Our Amazing Animal World we are able to provide unique animal encounters in a party setting. The animals are not taught tricks or games - they want to come and show you just how amazing Rescue Animals are in a calm environment.

We have 4 packages for you to choose from which are broken down into age groups and length of time. We know children want to invite everyone, but we encourage parents to keep the numbers lower, so you receive longer with each animal rather than having to rush through them.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

How do I book?

You can fill in an online enquiry in the CONTACT US section of the website. You can still call us with any enquiries, however running an animal sanctuary means we are usually very occupied in the day, so we advise to email as it is easier for us to pick these up in the evenings.

Do I pay a deposit?

Once you have agreed a date and time with us you will be sent an online booking form to fill in and on receipt of that we will ask you to pay a 25% non refundable deposit to secure the booking.

Can I choose which animals visit?

Within the booking form there is a section where you can make a Wishlist of animals you would prefer to attend, but PLEASE NOTE this is not an animal 'order form' and if any animals are poorly or unsociable on the day they obviously would not be attending. You can also mention any animals you would not like to attend for reasons such as allergies or fear.

How will I know I am booked in?

Once you have paid the 25% deposit we will send you a confirmation email with all the information you will need. A couple of days before the encounter we will send you an email re-confirming the remaining amount left to pay and the animals that will be attending. We leave this until a day or two before the event to avoid disappointment with regards to the animals.

When do I pay the final balance?

This MUST to be paid either before or on the day of the party.

When do you arrive?

On the day of the event we will arrive roughly 10 minutes before the start time. We need only a few minutes to set up and this way the animals are only in their carriers for the shortest time necessary.

How does the party work?

We ask that the children are sat in a semi-circle on the floor so we can easily communicate with them and so the animals are easily accessible. There will be 1-2 handlers at each event and one of those will always be Mark or Jerry. The animals are brought round on blankets and we will be encouraging everyone to engage with each animal to the degree that both they and the animal are comfortable with. We never force anyone to join in but find our relaxed, fun approach gets even the most nervous children involved. Parents love to get involved too which is great but obviously the children will be our first priority.
