Leopard geckos
The Leopard gecko, also known as the Panther gecko or the Common Leopard gecko, is a medium-sized lizard found in the southern part of Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, northwest India, and parts of Iran; living mostly in dry rocky regions, dry grasslands and deserts.

These are very popular pets due to their calm personalities however due to them being naturally more nocturnal owners can become bored of them meaning they are often in rescue centres and sanctuaries.
