Christmas Ranger

Do you know a young animal lover? The Junior Ranger animal experience offers young people aged 7-15 years old the chance to spend an afternoon learning about a range of species and what it takes to live and work in an animal sanctuary with our wonderfully unique rescue animals.

 

We will visit each animal section to get a taster of what it's like to look after the animals. You'll be cleaning, feeding, bathing animals and making up enrichment. There will be opportunities for cuddles and photos too!

 

You’ll have lots of opportunities to ask us everything you've ever wanted to know about animal keeping and receive a certificate and a badge at the end! 

 

Know Before You Book

• Children must be aged between 7-15 years of age and be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years old.

• You must wear appropriate closed toe footwear for the experience.

• The experience takes place indoors and outdoors so please come prepared for the weather forecast.
   

Prices 

• £65 per child which includes 1 accompanying adult.

SENSORY ISSUES: The sanctuary can be a noisy space with some of the noisier (sometimes screaming) parrots. With over 100+ rescue animals living here there are obviously many different animal smells so those with sensory issues could find it too much.

WHEELCHAIRS: Due to the building being very old (and relatively packed with animals) there is sadly not suitable room for wheelchairs. We hope to open a centre one day that can be all inclusive but we currently need to work with what we have.
